Carol Benko-Meyer Carol lives in Portage with her husband, Charley and their daughter, Caroline.  They also have a son, Christopher, who lives in Merrionette Park, Illinois.  She is employed by Portage Township Schools as a Teacher Assistant. Originally from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Carol also lived in West Virginia before moving to Portage in 1998.  Since that time she has been a parishioner of Nativity of Our Savior and has been a part of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) team.  The RCIA process is for adults, not baptized or baptized in another faith, who are interested in becoming Catholic. If you have been thinking about becoming Catholic, Carol has Inquiry meetings on the second and fourth Sundays of the month at 10:00 A.M. in the Bethlehem room (located in our Parish School).
