Jenny Chandler Jenny Chandler was born on May 19, 1978 in Crown Point, Indiana.  She graduated from Griffith High School in 1996 and from Valparaiso University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art and Education with a Music Minor.  She and her husband of 8 years, Matt, have lived in Portage since 1998.  They run an eBay business from home and have no children --- yet. Jenny has been a parishioner of Nativity of Our Savior since 2002, when she and Matt had their marriage blessed by Father Bill O'Toole on May 3rd of that year. In 2004, Jenny began teaching 2nd grade religious education at Nativity on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.  She also taught the Arts & Crafts class at this year's Vacation Bible School.  This was her first year as a catechist and she has thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Some of Jenny's hobbies include photography, drawing, and painting.  You can see her work in the new sign in front of the Nativity Family Center which she, with the guidance of Father Wally, designed and painted this past spring.  She plays the bass guitar in the local band Attention Deficit and enjoys riding around town on her tandem bike with Matt and their dog, Rocky.   If you see Jenny around, be sure to say Hi !  We hope you "Got To Know" her !!
