Jerry Sosbe My name is Jerry Sosbe.  I am a Portage resident and a Paramedic for the Town of Merrillville.  I am married to Julie and we have one wonderful daughter, Ashley, who is nine years old. My hobbies include spending time with family, traveling, and I am an avid sports fan with a special devotion to the Chicago Cubs (patiently waiting for "next" year). Ashley's First Communion helped to lead me to the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) Program.  I am anxiously awaiting the Easter Vigil, when I will be baptized, receive First Communion, and be confirmed all in the same evening!
