Kathy Salas I was born in Chicago and moved to Aetna when I was 4.  I attended Wirt High School.  I have lived in Portage for 33 years.  I have been married to my husband Louie for 24 years.  We have six children, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.  They all live in this area except one.  She lives with her family in Marion, Kentucky. I love spending time with my family and doing things for other people.  My favorite thing to do is travel and see how other countries and cultures live. I was a cake decorator for Sue's Bakery for 10 years and decided to take a few years break to raise my children.  Now that they are grown, I have been the office manager for a Medical Transcription company for the past 10 years. I have attended Nativity for 25 years with my family.  I am currently in the RCIA program and am excited to be getting Baptized this Easter.  It has been a very spiritual journey and life changing experience. I would like to say Thank You to the RCIA Team and to my Sponsor for all they have done to make my journey an experience I will never forget.
