Marianne Lenzo I grew up in Hammond, Indiana where I attended St. John Bosco Church.  I am the third of four children.  I attended Hammond High School.  I then received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education at Purdue University and my masters degree at Indiana University. I live in Portage with my husband Phil who I have been married to for 24 years.  I have two children Nicole and Daniel.  Nicole attends St. Joseph's college in Rensselaer and Daniel attends Portage High School.  I have been a member of Nativity Parish for over 20 years. I am currently the First Grade teacher at Nativity School.  This is the  19th year teaching at Nativity and my 24th year teaching for the Diocese of Gary.  I am also a Eucharistic minister both on Sundays and during the school masses.  I am currently the secretary for the Pastoral Council.  For the last several years, I have been working the food booth at the Nativity festival. I enjoy reading, gardening, Starbucks coffee and doing Suduko puzzles.
