Mary Brown My name is Mary Brown and I am the secretary of Nativity of Our Savior School.  I have been a member of Nativity since 1990.  I was born in South Bend, Indiana, and moved to the Miller section of Gary when I was two.  I am the fifth child, and only girl, of Elmer and Mae Schott.  I graduated from Andrean High School and attended IUN for two years when I decided to get married and start my working career.  I have been happily married to Marty for 32 years.  We have a beautiful daughter, Megan, who is 20 and attends Purdue University. I have been actively involved at Nativity since I joined the Parish.  I truly enjoy my participation as a Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion.  I find it very rewarding to feel God's presence as I serve Him.  I also enjoy working at the festival, parish picnics and the Hallowed bash. As school secretary, I get rewarded every day by all the hugs and smiles of my Nativity School children.  I am truly blessed to consider myself part of the Nativity family!
