Deacon Richard Huber Deacon Richard Huber was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and has been a Nativity parishioner since 1973.  He has been married for almost 45 years and is the father of four sons and the grandfather of seven children. He has served the parish at festivals, as usher, lector, catechist, member of the Pastoral Council Steering Committee, of the Home and School Association, of R.C.I.A. team, and Catering staff. He was retired from U.S. Can Company in 2000 after 38 years of service.  He was ordained a Deacon that same year and appointed by the Bishop to serve at St. Bridget in Hobart.  He does assist at Nativity parish during some daily Masses, as catechist, and at various parish activities, rituals and celebrations as his schedule allows.  His main interest is seeing to the spiritual needs of those in hospitals and nursing homes.
