Parish Mission Statement We, the people of Nativity of Our Savior Roman Catholic Parish of Portage, Indiana    are a community of believers, who responding to our call as people of God, strive to understand, live and share the teachings of Jesus Christ.  Our mission is: + To encourage and deepen our spiritual development through the celebration of the liturgy and the sacraments. + To strive for consciousness of social justice and our need to respond. + To promote stewardship by nurturing and sharing our time, talents, and treasures. + To foster ongoing faith development through education. + To celebrate our parish life through continual renewal and outreach. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to pursue our mission and thereby build community among God's people.
